100happydays foundation is looking for a Community Manager for the upcoming project focusing on stories of human happiness around the world. Your role will be to manage existing content contributors from over 20 countries, to create a community out of them and for them increasing the follower-base and, finally, to attract new content contributors to this community. Occasionally your responsibilities might also include content creation, social media marketing, public relations and communication strategy design.
By undertaking this internship you will be able to head the essential part of the fast-growing project. You will get exposure to hundreds of highly passionate and most ambitious individuals across the world, whose main goals in life are not measured in monetary terms. Finding and managing these creative individuals will will significantly advance your team management skills and interpersonal communication skills. In addition, you will be able to advance your CV by proving your project management skills and ability to delivering to high & ambitious goals.
The length of the internship is 3 months – prolongation possible based on the desire from both parties.
Your location does not influence the selection. The first 3 months do not require relocation.
The ideal candidate would have:
- Strong communication skills;

Your role will be to:
- coordinate teams of local event organizers by making sure they have constant support ahead and during the event;
- find new teams in new plces across the world to host the event;
- promote the event to get maximum online & offline coverage.
By undertaking this internship, you will involved in the global event coordination adding a heavty item in your CV while also advancing your skills of event & project management, team coordination and motivation as well as ability to reach high and ambitious goals.
The start date is asap and the end of the internship is by the end of May 2015, depending on the success of the event. Based on the performance, the further projects & involvement will be discussed after the completion of the internship.
